5. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our marketing website, getkleio.com, sets a single first-party cookie named kleio_ab_id. It contains a randomly generated identifier and nothing else — no name, no email, no IP address, and no data from any other website.

We use it for one purpose: to measure which version of a page leads people to install the Kleio app, so we can tell whether a change to the site actually helps. It is scoped to getkleio.com and its subdomains so a visit and a subsequent app install can be recognised as the same session.

Against that identifier we store which page variant was shown, which button was clicked, a coarse device type (desktop, mobile or tablet), whether the request looked automated, and the timestamps of those events. No IP address is stored. These records are deleted after 13 months.

To opt out, block cookies for getkleio.com in your browser, or delete the kleio_ab_id cookie. The site works normally either way. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services on this website.
